The heater valve is located behind the dash above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. The heater core is right beside it. It is operated by a linkage to the slider on the heater control panel.

Either the linkage from the temp control unit to the valve on the heater core (which is behind the radio and temp controls) or it is the heater core itself.

Where is the heater control valve in a 1994 Ford Explorer?

The heater control valve on a 1994 Ford Explorer is located near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine compartment. My 1994 Ford Explorer has a four port valve. This means that there are four hoses connected to the valve. It is very easy to view, as it sits directly on top of the engine compartment, near the a/c drier. It is easy to access. Should take less than ten minutes to remove and replace it with an OEM part. A very fast and easy fix!

What could be wrong with a 1994 Cavalier that leaks water on the passenger side carpets if it is not the heater core?

Is it water or coolant? If it's water, you probably have a leaky windshield seal. If it's coolant you could have a heater control valve leak.

Why is your 1994 Honda civic heater blowing cold air?

Low coolant? Plugged, restricted, or air bound heater core? Bad thermostat? Water pump not circulating coolant? Temperature control cable/valve not adjusted properly?
