the fan rheostat on a 04 scenie is on the drivers side way up in the heater box, to get a it u will need to remove gear sick console , center display panel this will enable u to get at a hiden scew so u can remove the lower part of the dash where the handbrake switch is. after this get your head up by the pedals and look up to the heater box you will see the rheostat right at the top.it is held in by one torx headed [star shaded] screw which is towards the steering wheel and a clip at other side, 2 mulit plugs at it's out. the screw is a bi*ch to get at but keep cool and u can do it. it takes about 45 mins to get out. god luck hoe this helps .
