Ford usually has sensors inside the door on top of latch
The air bags might deploy for no reason in a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible if their is a short in the system. It is also possible that a sensor in the bumper was broken somehow.
The 1997 Volvo 850 does not have a MAP sensor but instead has a barometric sensor. The MAP/barometric sensor is located just below and a little toward the passenger cabin on the right (passenger) side from the hood latch. It is bolted with one bolt to the inner fender. Stand on the passenger side and look down you should see it between the windshield washer filler neck and the hood latch. It is quite small and has an electrical plug. It is held in place by one bolt with a 8 mm head. To clarify the hood latches are on each side (not the safety latch in the center.
See if you can pull down the back of the back seat. If you can, you'll be able to crawl into the trunk and get your keys out.
Replace the door latch.
The shift solenoid B for a 1997 Chrysler Convertible is located inside the transmission. The speed sensor has to be removed to access the bolts to remove the cover over this shift solenoid.
Jaguar XK was created in 1997.
= How do you replace the rear dutch door latch on a 1997 gmc safari?" =
In the door, spray WD-40 in the latch hole and most of the time fixes the problem, but you have to really soak the latch area. That's if you wanted to know how to get the door ajar light to go off.
If sensor is located inside the door latch (like Lincoln) Sspray liberally with WD-40 operate door several times and then spray with silicone
