It is located on the back of the intake manifold. You will see three ports...the one in the middle is the IAT. The other two are vacuum hose connections.
The IAT sensor on a 1997 Hyundai Accent is found in the piping for the intake system. The sensor will be plugged and mounted near the air box for the air filter.
Should be on the tube connected to the intake, or on the intake itself. It should have 2 wires connected to it
in the air box that houses the air filter.

The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor of the 1997 Hyundai Sonata is located in the air hose assembly. Follow the air hose to the immediate entrance to the air filter box and that is where to find the IAT wiring harness.
They are located on the IAT itself which is on the throttle body
