The intake air temperature sensor is inside the main plastic housing of the air intake box where the air filter resides.
The 1993 Chevy S 10 Blazer IAT sensor can be found on the top of the transmission. The IAT sensor will be near the front of the transmission.
The IAT sensor is located on the intake manifold air cleaning housing or air duct.
it is located in side the maf actually they use the same sensor housing.
The IAT intake air temperature sensor plug on a 93 Nissan is on the intake pipe. The EGR sensor is located on the intake manifold.
93 thru 99 3.0 motors have IAT but later models do not
The IAT sensor on the 1993 Honda Prelude is located to the right of the intake manifold as you face the engine compartment. It is connected with red and green wiring.
red/blue and red/white
On the 323 and 95 1.8 liter, the Mass Airflow Sensor and the IAT are in one unit. I'm not sure which wires are which on your car but I believe it's the green/pink and red/black wires. Hope this helps! -Christian Riehlc@rider.edu
It's located in the rear of the air box. If you remove the lid off the air filter box and look inside under the filter you will see a orange tip sticking through the side of the box. That is the IAT (Intake Air Tempurature) sensor.
On the Ford Probe 93-97 GT's the knock sensor is located underneath the intake manifold. More specifically it is threaded into a fitting on the deck of the engine block in between the heads in the Valley. Shouldn't be too bad if your an experienced mechanic or a mechanically inclined individual. Hope this helps ya out, and good luck.
MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor, TPS(Throttle position sensor) sensor, IAF(Intake air flow) sensor, EGR, leaking, loose or missing vacum hoses...
It stands for the Air Intake Sensor. Basically it is another sensor used by the computer to adjust fuel mixture for a good running car in cold weather. It is housed in the air filter flow assy unit.
