This sensor could be either in the air tube, air box at filter,or in intake manifold. All it does is read air temp coming in to your engine to let computer compensate fuel for air temp. Colder the air, more fuel, hot the air, less fuel. Look at the air duct going in to the throttle body,it should be in there or in the air filter box. If it is like a Mystique it is on the back of the motor facing the driver and almost have to be under it to see it. Horrble spot
Yes, there is an intake air temperature (IAT) sensor in a 99 coug. The IAT is located by the mass air flow sensor between the air fliter and the intake manifold.
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is incorporated into the Mass Airflow sensor. You cannot service the IAT sensor alone, you must actually service the Mass Airflow sensor instead. The Mass Airflow Sensor is located at the corner of the air filter housing where it meets the air intake duct.
The IAT sensor on a 2000 Mercury Cougar V6 is on the back side of the filter box. On the Zetec model it is either on the Air box like the V6, or on the intake tubing running from the box to the Throttle Body.
Located in the air intake tube beside the battery.
It is the intake air temperature sensor , and it,s located in the air intake boot.
iat sensor on a 97 blazer and what does it do
The 2003 Forrester IAT sensor can be found on the top of the transmission. The IAT sensor will be near the back of the transmission.
where is the IAT Sensor on tne 2002 maxima
code113 for iat sensor
A 95 did not have IAT sensor
iat sensor? Please describe this device, never heard of iat sensor. Post again
Most of the IAT sensors are part of the MAF sensor it is a dual sensor
