where is the iat sensor on my Mazda 6 located and does anyone have a pic to compare
The 2000 Mazda IAT sensor can be found on the back of the engine. The IAT sensor will be just above the bell housing.
On air box right befor maf sensor
NB Miatas have the IAT sensor located on the black, plastic airbox towards the top on the driver's side. The sensor is simply plugged in with a circular, rubber grommet. NA Miatas have the IAT sensor located inside the Mass Air Flow sensor.
Trouble code P0113 means: Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High Input Replace the IAT sensor
It is located within the MAF-box, following the air in it is place right behind the "wing" that controls the sensor.
From Haynes Manual #36071, 1993/2005 Ford Ranger and 1994-2005 Mazda B-Series Pick-ups: All 2.5L engines, 3.0L and 4.0L 1993 through 1999 and 2.3L engines 1993 through 1997 utilize an IAT sensor. Models following these years do not have an IAR sensor.
A 95 did not have IAT sensor
