If the car is fuel injected, the Idle screw is on the throttle body either to the left side or near the butterfly (Intake plate). If not keep in mind that he idle screw has to be near the Intake plate in order to adjust the idle. If it is carburetor, than the idle screws are on the front of the carb, in the middle.
The oil filter should be on the passenger side of the engine. It is located just past the wheel. It is a screw on type.
they had corrosion problems and mounting screw problems but what is your question?
Its the bleeder screw, its used to let air pockets out the coolant system.
unscrew old unit screw in new unit.
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. It is clamped onto the thermostat cover. There should be a coolant bleed screw just above it. 3.1L engine.
If you go in the trunk and raise the floor carpet, you find an access panel right behind the back seats. I believe it has about ten screw. Open it up and you will see it.
The calipers are threaded and screw out.
There are six cylinders in a 2.8. They are located inside the engine in the part known as the engine block. They are not accessible without dismantling the engine. The cylinders are the tubes that the pistons travel up and down in and they are located under the heads which are attached to the top of the engine block. The spark plugs screw into the heads and the spark is ignited inside the cylinder when the fuel air mixture has been compressed by the piston. The spark igniting the fuel/air mixture drives the piston down which turns the crankshaft and cause the engine to run.
IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE COOLANT DRAIN ON THE ENGINE BLOCK YOU REMOVE THE KNOCK SENSOR ON THE LOWER SIDE OF THE ENGINE, IT HAS A WIRE ON IT . IT IS BACK OF THE MOTOR MOUNT. WHEN YOU FILL THE ENGINE BACK UP WITH COOLANT BE SURE TO GET THE AIR OUT (94 ON)THERE IS A SMALL SCREW ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE JUST BEFORE THE THE TOP HOSE GOES INTO THE BLOCK, JUST LOOSEN IT TILL THE AIR IS ALL OUT.
How do you replace fuel filter on 1993 Buick LeSabre, the replacement filter I bought appears to be a snap on. I have only replaced the screw on type.
Not sure if it depends on the engine, but on the 3800 V6 engine, the thermostat is right one top. Position yourself in front of the engine. To the right of the front spark plugs (the rubbery wires), you will see a sort of mound. There is a brass colored screw in the top and two screws holding it in. It should be connected to a rubber hose, that connects the radiator to the engine. Underneath the mound in the thermostat. Just unscrew the bolts lift it up and use a screw driver to pop out the thermostat. Really simple to change.
Turning the fuel screw on a Cummins will determine the fuel flow tot he engine. If the screw is set too high of low then the engine will not run properly and could cause engine damage.
