It is located underneath the distributor rotor. It is fastened down with two screws in the distributor housing. For the best access to it you will need to remove the following: spark plug wires from the distributor cap (be sure to label them for correct re-installation), distributor cap and distributor rotor.
it is on the top of the steering column under the dash. there is a rod that activates the switch when you turn the key. To remove it you need to drop the column to give yourself enough room to get your hands in there to unplug the wires and unbolt the switch.
The ignition module on a 93 corvette is bolted to the ignition coil bracket, which is located on the top/ front of the engine, passenger side.

A Mercedes-Benz 300SE ignition control module can be obtained from most Mercedes-Benz dealerships. The ignition control module, can be purchased at most auto-parts stores.
Regarding a model 1997,2 liter sonata, there is not an ignition control module as such. Ignition control comes from the ECM (ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT) through the Ignition Power Transistor (often called Igniter) and then to the Ignition coil.I do not have any information on the 1.8 or the 3.0 liter models.
