The inertia switch on a 88 ranger is inside the cab on the passenger side. directly underneath the glovebox and to the left of the eec ( where the kickpanel is) you will have to pull up the carpet abit where it ends under the dash. it is a small sqare shaped box with only two wires leading to it. hoped this helped

I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE the fuel pump inertia switch on a 1993 Ford Ranger is in the front passenger footwell , under the front edge of the carpet , mounted on the toe board just to the right of the transmission hump
On my 96 ranger its on the passenger side basically on the firewall

The Chilton and Haynes manuals both say that the inertia switch is on the toe board to the right of the transmission hump. I can't find it. Can anyone help me locate it?
