Have you looked on the floor between the driver's seat and the door sill? That's where it is on my '96.
thanks for trying, but no there is nothing between seat and door sill
beside the drivers seat...on the floor
There's a black cord inside the trunk on the top left.
Beside the drivers seat by the door.
behind the drivers door window
To change the trunk release cable in a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, first, open the trunk and remove the interior trim panel to access the cable mechanism. Disconnect the old cable from the latch and the release handle inside the car. Replace it with the new cable, ensuring it’s properly routed and secured. Finally, reattach the interior trim panel and test the trunk release to ensure proper function.
Look to the left side of the driver's seat on the floor. There should be a lever between the seat and the door sill.
yes it is on the drivers door under the arm rest
Front bonnet release is to the right of the Accellerator, under the dash and the hood release for the engine compartment is behind the drivers seat below where the seatbelt is fastened.
This may or may not help. My '96 has an interior trunk release lever located on the floor between the driver's seat and the door sill. I don't know how long Pontiac located the release there.
take a pry bar and stick it in where the seat tilts on the drivers side and tilt the seat half way gently pry between the seat and rear plastic side panel to release the retaining pin you may have to move it back and forth a bit because it only realeses in one spot once you have the drivers side out you must do the same for the passengers side .
simple there isn't one..you flip it open by hand silly! :P it's a econmy car
On my 1993, its in the back. Open tailgate, the jack is on drivers side compartment above the rear wheel. There is a tab you pull up to release the door to the compartment.
