Not sure if it will be the same but I have a 1998 Villager and the jack is in the trunk behind a removable panel on the right hand side.
According to the Owner Guide it's under the 3rd row bench seat in an equipment bag
According to the 1997 Mercury Villager Owner Guide : The jack is behind a removable plastic panel , in the cargo area , on the passenger side ( there is also the tool kit with the lug wrench )
Lift the third row seat cushion and the jack is supposed to be in the tool bag under the seat
The Jack is stored under the Hideaway Spare in the trunk. There should be a sticker showing how it's stored.
It's in a storage bag attached to the underside of the third row bech seat.
Not needed as the thermostat is on top of the engine on the right.
The jack engages notches in the rail on the rocker panel. Consult your owners manual if it isn't obvious.
Simply raise the car and support the engine on a jack, then unbolt it.
hidden back drivers side storage compartment, passengerside should have your Jack etc.
On a 1997 Mercury Sable : The jack is supposed to be with the spare tire in the trunk The spare tire is stored with the tire valve facing down and the jack is stored inside the tire rim
On a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer : The air suspension switch which is turned OFF any time a wheel is off the ground ( is located in the cargo area , on the drivers side , near the liftgate , behind the removable plastic panel where the wheel jack is stored )
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport : The wheel jack is in the cargo area , on the drivers side , behind a removable plastic panel ( the lug nut wrench is also stored there )
