Remove the lug wrench and jack extension bars from under the rear passenger seat. Open the rear hatch of the car. At the bottom of the opening there is a hole in the plastic bumper molding, assemble the extension bars and insert into the hole, it should engage with the lowering mechanism under the vehicle, there is a slot in the lug wrench shaft which locates onto the extension bars then just wind anti clockwise to lower the spare.
