its in the center of the dash up by the windshield there should be a small nob sticking out of the top of your dash by the defrost vents to remove it you will have to remove the entire dash bored witch would be a pain but if you lost or the truck did not come with a remot there are only 2 kind of remotes that will work if you take the truck to a dealer just have the try both until they find one that works that is what i did

It is in the side pocket were the jack is stored, just over the drivers rear wheel well.
