It does not have a coolant sensor, But it does have a temperature gauge sensor and you can find it screewed into the driverside head between the first 2 spark plugs up front,
you're better off replacing the knock sensor . it adjusts the timing automaticly by sencing any knocking sound & does the needed adjustment .
