Wine is such a subjective thing that it is difficult to identify the "top" Sonoma Valley Wineries. Different people will have different favorite wineries just as they have different tastes in wine.
Some of my personal favorite wineries in the Sonoma Valley include Benziger Family Winery, which has an interesting vineyard/winery tour. Imagery Winery has great wines and a fascinating display of artwork used on their labels. Kunde Estate has delicious Zinfandel and beautiful grounds. You can join a group hike around their grounds.
