On the Ford Escort it's either in the drivers footwell , behind the kick panel
or on the right side of the trunk , behind the trunk liner

Chevrolet doesn't use inertia switches. That's a Ford thing.

Ford is the only one that had the Inertia switch. Chevy did not use them. You need to check fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse.
