If it's a 6 cylinder there will be two banks, left and right or 1 and 2 as they're calling them, then there will be a front and a rear sensor, or sensors 1 and 2.
If it's a 4 cylinder there will only be 1 bank with a front and a rear sensor.
With that out of the way...
The front sensor is typically screwed into the EXHAUST manifold, typically somewhere near the junction where all of the exhaust lines come together. It should be the only thing on the exhaust manifold that has a wire connected.
