The throttle position sensor (TPS) on a 1990 Ford Thunderbird is located on the throttle body, which is typically found on the intake manifold of the engine. It is usually mounted on the side of the throttle body and connected to the throttle plate. To access it, you may need to remove some intake ducting or other components depending on your engine configuration. Always ensure the engine is off and cool before attempting to locate or service the TPS.
