The low port for your air conditioning system is on the passenger side of the engine, on top of the accumulator (can). It is close to your electric fan motor for your heater/air conditioning. It has a plastic dust cap covering the valve.

You can put Freon into your air conditioning system through the low pressure port. The low pressure port can be found on the top of your air conditioning compressor.
If it is only "shuddering" or "chattering" in turns, try adding special low viscosity fluid (from Ford).
