i believe its the top nob. open hood. left side not the one by air filter but higher. the hose on freon will fit on it but not the other one
The 1988 Mercury Cougar diagnostic port can be found under the hood.
The 1999 Mercury Cougar OBD 2 port is under driver side dash left of steering column
You can find the 1997 Mercury Cougar low pressure port on top of the air conditioner compressor. The low pressure port will have a blue top.
