if your tolking about the a/c low pressure switch it is under the hood on the pass- side back kind a close to the fire wall it screws onto the side of the a/c dryer which is black the switch has 2 wires that plug into it unplug and unscrew the switch

Did this to my 98 Malibu v6, the low pressure valve is on line beside fire wall behind engine, it has blue protective cap on it. high pressure valve you would not use has red cap on it located beside radiator/condenser. You don't say what year your Malibu is so this may not apply to you if your unit uses the R12 refrigerant.
Follow lines from compressor-Larger line is low pressure--port may be at or around the accumulator/drier by passenger firewall
You can refill your air conditioning system from the low pressure port on the air conditioner compressor. The low pressure port will be labeled as such.
