There is no date listed in plain english. It is part of the DOT Code. Locate the series of numbers that starts with DOT on the outside sidewall of the tire. The sequence will be 10, 11, or 12 characters long. Locate the last 2 numbers on the series. That is the year the tire was made. For instance if you see 10 then it was made in 2010. The 2 numbers preceding the year are the week it was made. For example if you see 3211, then the tire was made the 32nd week of 2011.
