how much is corperator for a 1986 isuzu pup 2.3l
Probably a senor: MAP, MAF, IAC, pr TPS
It will be on the left side of the intake manifold, under the map senor. Towards the back
Code 34 is MAP/EGR code. Take your EGR valve off and clean it VERY WELL with carb cleaner. Take battery cable off for 5min and depress brake pedal to kill power to the system. If the light comes back on within a few miles, then you need a new MAP sensor which is about $40.
My 92 Trooper did the same thing today. It's the third time it has done it in three weeks. I was told it is the MAP sensor. The part is $48 to $55 at a local parts store. The garage wants $186(2 hrs labor) + Parts + 8.9% sales tax. I think it's time to look in my DIY Isuzu book and see if I can change it myself.
map sensor 2000 malibu location
Passenger side of engine next to throttle body. It is the senor with the vacuum line running to it.
where is map sensor on a 1999 cavalier
It uses a MAP sensor. It uses a MAP sensor.
map sensor or a bad vacum leak
MAP = Manifold absolute pressure. A map sensor monitors the level of vacuum in the engine to help determine correct air/fuel ratio. if the vacuum drops its because you've opened the throttle and it needs to add more fuel. more vacuum, less fuel.
