Its all in the lights! the mark 1 has smaller headlights with the indicators to the side.
It is a combined fuse number F6 that also does the stereo. You will find it in the glovebox fuse panel on the MK2 or on the MK1 it is below to the right on the drivers side.
On the Mk1 model they are located in a panel under the steering column.

If it's a Mk2 Clio then the speedo is electronic - Mk1 Clios had cable driven speedos.
Can some-one tell me were the relay switch is on a 1.9 tdi ford galaxy mk1, it is not by the drivers seat in the box.
on a mk1 clio just unscrew the screws in the front of the lamp and pull it out, twist the plug at the back and it should all just come appart
