open hood and look on top of transaxle..black, flat switch..3x6 inches..no way that i know of to bypass..djones1..pontiac dealership

There is no safety switch that can be operated manually . The engine does however have a fuel cutoff switch integrated in to the oil pressure switch/sending unit that shuts off the fuel pump to protect the engine in case of loss of oil pressure.
