you will find it on the gearbox itself.
Its near the shifer or on the side of the gearbox
one is a neutral switch and the other a reverse switch both have only 2 wires coming out of them
If ouyr talking about a automatic is olso on the side.. this information is easily found in a workshop manual..

The autos do not have a safety switch....They have a sensor located in the trans itself that tells the ecu if its in neutral/park.....I believe its a 3 pin plug going into the trans itself,.....trace it and see where it leads.....You may be able to hook up a toggle switch..
