If you are looking for the number one cylinder on the engine you need to know which cylinder it is by a picture.If you tell me the year make and model i can tell you. Also timing rotation on a distribuator is the order in which the cylinders fire. The router hits the point inside the distibuator in the same fashion the cylinders fire. So cylinder one fires first the router hits the point for cyliner one then the next point could be cyliner 8. thisch means cylinder 8 is firing now.
