I had a hard time finding the sensor on my '95 Silverado as well.
After diligently searching under the hood, I crawled under the truck and found it.
It looks like a spark plug screwed into the tailpipe about 4 inches in front of the catalytic convector.
unscrew it
on the exhaust pipe one forward and back.
it's a 5.3 litre v8
there should be a couple of them screwed into the exhaust system.
Bank 1 on a Chevy is the drivers side. Sensor 1 is located in front of the catalytic convertor and sensor 2 is after the converter. Each side has 2 O2 sensors.
It has 2 in the exhaust pipe/ pipes. They will be up close to the engine.
Where is oxygen sensor on 4.3 liter 1995 Chevy S10. All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points, and you probably have more than one sensor.
Oxygen O2 sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Should be drivers side closest to engine.
There are several O2 sensors on that vehicle and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
Bank 1 is the side of the V8 or V6 engine where cylinder #1 is located. On Chevy engines that is on the drivers side.
