The ODO trip button is a small black button on the lower left side of the display shield.
For a second generation IS250: Hold down the the odometer reset button and press the start engine (without your foot on the brake to prevent from starting) to switch to the acc. mode, continue holding the reset button for about 5 sec until the visual countdown ended et voila, your system has been reset.
The Trip Odometer is normally reset by pushing and holding the reset button in. The odometer can not be reset.

While in odometer A, press & hold odometer reset button and simultaneously press START/STOP button to turn off. Press & hold odometer reset button and simultaneously press START/STOP button twice. Wait for the indicator bar to complete reset cycle and then release odometer reset button.
Sit in the driver's seat. Put your seat belt on. With the key in the off position, press and hold in the odometer reset button. Turn the key one click (keep holding the odometer reset button in). Very shortly afterwards you will get a "RESET" (or similar) display. Release the odometer reset button. The display "RESET" will blink. While blinking press the odometer reset button again. That should do it.
The reset button is the black plastic stick next to the odometer. You hold it down for at least 2 seconds. Now if you want to reset the trip odometer that is on the selector switch lower right corner on the instrument panel.
Just did it on my 2007. First make sure the trip odometer is set to Trip A. While holding in the odometer reset button, push to engine start button twice (but not with your foot on the brake pedal). After continuing to hold the trip OD button for about 4-5 seconds you'll see the Oil Maintenance Req'd message disappear. Sounds simple.
Press and hold the odometer reset button, & turn on the ignition switch without starting the car. After around 5 seconds the light will reset. Release the odometer reset button and turn the ignition off.
