The 2006 VW Jetta oil drain plug will be on the bottom of the oil pan. You can remove the drain plug with a 9/16 wrench.

It doesn't have a drain plug, you have to remove the oil pan to drain.
Remove the engine oil drain plug. Remove the oil filter. Put back in drain plug. Lube the new oil filter gasket and then install. Then add new engine oil.
On the oil pan, under the car. If you can't find the drain plug, you have no business changing your own oil.
Remove the oil drain plug located on the bottom of the engine on the oil pan.
Take the skid plate of the bottom of the engine compartment. The oil drain plug is located on the back center of the oil pain. It's a 19mm bolt.
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the oil pan, and then remove the filter.
