The oil filter is located behind the electric fans on the left bank of engine, you should remove the heat shield of that exhaust header, 3 10mm (two bolts and one nut) and when reinstalling this you must use anti seize so next time will be ease to remove the filter will be under the exhaust header is awkward to get at but this is the easy way, some people don't take the shield off but it's twice as hard that way, don't forget to oil the filter seal before install

Another way is to use car filter wrench and an extender. I use LISLE Import Car Oil Filter Wrench 63600. You can probably find them at local auto store if not, Amazon sells it for around $20. Be careful you don't burn yourself as heat shield gets pretty hot. Also, first time I changed filter, I figured all the oil was drained from the filter due to it's position/location but was not so make sure you put pan underneath to collect oil from the filter.
