How to remove Window Winder Handles from VZ Holden Commodore
Piercing the fuel filter with a screw driver relieves the pressure allowing you to remove the filter without braking the clips.
I own a VZ Commodore Executive with the 175 alloytec engine and the oil that Holden has been using at oil changes I believe is 10W30, which is probably the minimum weight you can use. According to the handbbok, if an oil of lower viscosity is used your oil consumption will go up. John Lee

This info. relates to a 3.6l V6 VZ Commodore. Get down on your hands & knees and look under the car from the front bumper. You will see the sump plug facing you. The only tool I had success with in removing the plug was a 'Crescent' adjustable wrench. The sump will take 6.5 litres of oil. If you wish to replace the oil filter, it is located in a vertical metal canister on the passenger side of the engine bay. To access the canister, lift the plastic engine cover up and there it is.
