The oil filter is under a metal cap held in with three hex bolts just next to the exhaust pipe on the right side of the bike. You can't miss it once it's pointed out. You have to remove the cover and then access the filter.

Be carefull when you pull the triangular plate cap off, there is a spring inside....don't loose it. that's all there is the filter. By the way, the make lifetime filters, they are made all of metal mesh and you only have to wash themin your dishwasher with every oil chage.
