the one that gives power to the fuel pump after oil pressure is up is located on the rear of engine, driver side,next to distributor...you cant see it without light and mirror.... or moving things in the way....i dont see how to remove it with engine in truck. this applies to v6's both 2.8 and 4.3. i took a pushbutton horn from autozone, and wired it to the fuel pump relay under hood.....when i start it, push the button,giving power to fuel pump until it starts.....mine runs fine after starting...just needs prime to start
Remove the retaining ring at the top of your 1985 Chevy ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.
The 1985 Chevrolet El Camino ignition switch can be removed by loosening the retaining ring at the top of the switch. The switch will slide out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition switch.

The 1985 Chevrolet S 10 blazer fuel pressure regulator can be found on the top of the engine. The fuel pressure regulator will be near the fuel injector pump.
It will be screwed in to the oil filter adapter.

The heater core on a 1985 Chevy Suburban is located under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. The glove compartment may have to be removed to access the heater core.
The ignition is not fused.
