Please help.....Where is the oil sending unit on a 2004 Chevrolet Siverado V-6 4.3
The Oil Sending Unit on a 1988, 89, and 90 model Silverado is behind the driver side manifold. It is right above the oil filter. It is a canister that is bolted to a piece of tubing that leads to the motor.
on the side where the oil filter is located
Need to know engine size.
It will probably be next to the oil filter.
above oil filter.
it is located at the rear of engine block by the distributer.
between the intake and the firewall on top of the block
The oil pressure sending unit on my 1997 silverado is on the top of the engine behind the intake manifold. It took a while to find it.I had to climb on top of the engine and look down to the block up near the firewall I was having eratic oil pressure readings and the sending unit was the problem.
If your Celebrity has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the oil sending unit is on the side of the block below the intake manifold. If your Celebrity has the 2.8L V6 the oil sending unit is on the lower side of the block next to the oil filter.
It is right behind the distributor and screewed into the top of the engine block.
