The 1985 Chevrolet El Camino dipstick length is 27 inches. The dipstick needs to be exact in order to measure the oil properly.
On the driver's side at the rear of the engine.
The 1987 Chevrolet Corvette oil pressure should be between 45 PSI and 40 PSI. The idling oil pressure will be slightly less.
It is GL-5 and the weight is 80/90 gear oil.
Assuming Engine Oil ... there is a filler neck on one side or the other of the engine labeled "OIL" or similar. Remove that cap and pour the oil in. Check the level of what is being added using the dipstick.

you get water mixing into your oil, check your dipstick to see that the oil looks like oil on the stick and not milky looking, also you will notice a fluid loss for no reason.
