Two wire sensor, front, passenger side of the transmission case.
It is the transmission output speed sensor, which is located on the front of the trans far driver side.
The output speed sensor on the transmission is also the vehicle speed sensor. The output sensor is the two wire sensor on the front of the trans all the way to the driver side.
These are typically located at the top of the transmission output.
The speedometer signal comes form the transmission computer via the output speed sensor.
The outpu speed sensor is a two wire sensor on the front of the trans, far driver side.
Two wire plug, front of trans, on the far driver side.
On a 4 speed transmission it is the output speed sensor. That ir the sensor on the front of the trans farthest to the driver side. On a 3speed transmission it is on the housing that the passenger axle shaft comes out of trans in.
The input and output speed sensors are on the front of the transmission case. Both are two wire sensors. The input is closer to the engine.
I know that it is on the right side of the transaxle, but I would be concerned about the pinion gear falling off?
it really depends on transmission, the A413, 3 speed its in the back of the trans and the A604, 4 speed, it has 2, an input and output speed sensor. and those r located in the front area, the input is near the trans dipstick and im not to sure where the output sensor is.
There are two speed sensors on a 1996 Dodge Avenger, an input speed sensor and an output speed sensor. Both are located on the front of the transmission.
Vehicle speed sensor malfunction. Most likely you have a failed output speed sensor on the transmission.Vehicle speed sensor malfunction. Most likely you have a failed output speed sensor on the transmission.
