Most oxygen sensors are located on the exhaust just below the exhaust manifold. Some are located further down the exhaust stream on the pipe.Assuming you have a 2.8 V6 it should be just after the manifold. 4 cylinder engines should be the same. This sensor senses (you guessed it) the amount of oxygen in the exhaust stream. This helps the vehicles computer determine the corretc amount of fuel to inject into the engine according to a given load.
Need to know what engine it has.
There is no adjustment to my knowledge.
No it does not.
2.2l is behind cat converter
It's a code for the oxygen sensor.
what is the wiring diagram for the o2 sensor on 2000 s10 blazer. it has 4 wires. what what do they all do /
That vehicle has several oxygen sensors and they are all threaded into the exhaust at various points.
Right after the exhust goes to gether befor the cat on the top side.(only one) the sensor is on the exhaust pipe on the right side of the vehicle
Bank 1 sensor 3 would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter.
The check engine light would come on.
Downstream ... This is after the Catalyst Converter.
My 1989 chevy s10 doesn't accelerate quckly,why is this?
