They are screewed into the exhaust pipe system. There about 3 to 4 inches long with an electrical wire in the end of them.
The 1999 Chevy Suburban camshaft sensor is located on the front of the engine. The camshaft sensor will be behind the front engine cover.

Just unplug the electrical connector and then unscrew the oxygen sensor out of the exhaust pipe.
It is over by the starter, and screewed into the engine block.

It will should be located on the Y pipe of your exhaust between the engine and the catalytic converter.Just unplug the wire harness and then unscrew the sensor and then install new one.
Iat / Idle air temperature sensor was not used on that year.

It has 4 of them and they are screwed into the exhaust system / pipes. Tere will not be any after the muffler.
