I have a 1999 e-150 probably the same set up, there are two one before and one after the cataletic converter just follow your exsaust system from manafold to tail and you will run into them!
Honda oxygen sensor is usually positioned in the exhaust manifold downpipe before the catalytic converter of your Honda vehicle or in the middle of the two mentioned components. For more details: http://sites.google.com/site/hondarepairsite/home/2004-honda-oxygen-sensor
There is only one coolant temperature sensor on a 1999 Ford E150 6 cylinder. The sensor is on the front of the engine just below the valve cover.
There is more than one O2 sensor on that vehicle. They are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points before and after the catalytic converter.
First you need to know which one you are looking for. Your car has more than one oxygen sensor. Usually you'll have one in front of and one in back of the catalytic convertor and there may be one closer to the exhaust manifold as well.
under the air filter through the wire mesh and its eac electronic air control meter is activated for more air to get in the motor
Actually, OEM?æshould have one more hole than a replacement oxygen?æsensor. By monitoring oxygen levels in the exhaust, the fuel richness is measured.
The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust system there might be more then one
The oxygen sensor measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases. Theoretically, if the fuel mix is perfect, then there should be no oxygen in the burned gas ... if it detects O2 it assumes that there wasn't enough fuel ... and adds more.
motorcraft . com just shows ( 1 ) oxygen sensor for all available engines in a 1991 Ford Ranger
Screwed into the exhaust system. Follow the exhaust system from the engine rearward and you will find the oxygen sensor or sensors if it if it has more than one.
The Isuzu Rodeo can have 3 or more oxygen sensors. The oxygen sensor delivers information to the powertrain module.
If the cruise control will not engage, there might be a problem with the Electronic Fuel Injector or the MAP Sensor. There might also be a problem with the Oxygen Sensor. Some autos have more than one oxygen sensor.
