Open your hood and look at the battery, Now look at the bottom left side of the battery and you will see a black plastic box mounted just below the battery. The PCM / Powertran control module is in that box.
It is located in the engine bay, above the driver's side frame rail and below the battery.

From what I've read, Chevy hasn't called it an ECM since the 92 model. It is now called a PCM and is on the drivers side frame rail in front of the engine under a black plastic cover.

It is right below the side of the BATTERY and is mounted inside a black plastic box. And it is called a PCM / Powertrain controll module.
under the hood in the main fuse box by the pcm (drivers side has fuse box written on it) look under the lid of the box and it will tell exactly which relay it is
