when looking at the engine, next to the "V-8" cover (approx 2 inches to the left), you will see a black object sticking up with 2 hoses attached to it, that is the PCV valve. Replacement instructions are on the back of the new valve package(usually)but it pops right in and out(no tools req)
Passanger side valve cover.
The PCV valve should be on the passenger side valve cover, about halfway back.On a few models it is on the back of the engine mounted to the plenum.
On a 1989 Ford Crown Victoria LTD with a 302 Windsor engine, the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve is typically located on the valve cover. It is usually found on the driver's side, inserted into the cover with a hose connected to the intake manifold. You may need to remove the hose to access and inspect or replace the PCV valve.
Did you ever find the location of the pcv valve?
Should be on back valve cover
pcv valves are always located on valve covers (but not all vehicles have pcv valves)
some models the pcv valve is in the valve cover on others the valve plugs into intake manifold and is connected to valve cover by hose
On a 1993 Buick Regal 3.1L, the PCV valve is located on the intake manifold. It is situated underneath the MAP sensor.
Pull straight up on the PCV valve to remove it from the valve cover, then pull off the hose from the PCV valve, install the new one by doing the opposite of removal.
The PCV valve is located on the back side valve cover. It should be a plug in type and easy to change.
