The Petpet Lab Ray is aditional to the Secret Laboratory Ray.
It zaps your petpet into different petpets, changes it's name and level.
It can also make your petpet disappear completely.
If you remove this petpet from your pet, it will however revert back to it's original form.
You must have the Secret laboratory Ray before you can use the Petpet Lab ray.

if I'm not mistaken you need to have all the pieces to the regular lab ray and then go there with the pieces of the pet pet lab ray... I thought those 2 maps were different??
