Kallarakadavu is place located on the banks of river Achenkovil. It is in the central part of Pathanamthitta muncipality, Pathanamthitta Distric, Kerala state, India. Years ago the whole land was owned by a Nair (a Hindu caste) family called 'KALLARA'. That's why the land named Kallarakadavu. Now the family is divided in to two KALLARA and MAVELATH).
