The block heater core was an add on accessory. If equipped, it is located on the passenger side of the engine.
It can.
NO. Bypass the heater core by connecting the Inlet & Outlet hoses going to the heater core together. Do not plug either hose.
You can drain the coolant from the radiator drain plug and just refill it or you can flush out the complete system including the radiator, heater core, heater hoses, block and replace the thermostat and the refill it back up...........
If it has a block heater it will be installed on the passenger side of the engine , in place of one of the freeze plugs ( core plug , expansion plug etc )
Sure. You can by-pass the heater core but you won't have any heat for defrosting the windshield should you need it.
Stop leak will generally plug up holes u want plugged, but they will also plug up holes u don't want plugged. Better to fix the heater core.
The heater core is under the dash. Open the hood an look at the firewall behind the back head there are 2 hoses ther plug into the heatercore. left and right
block heater plug on a 2005 ford is hidden just above front bumber bar on passenger side of truck, behind the grill. just untie so it can be placed where you can get at it
remove the big plastic skid plate and it's right there , the filters there but under a fuel line.
Theres a leak. Probably a hose but could be radiator or heater core, water pump or engine core plug
