I don't know I got in to the palace and the goal is still not checked off There is not a good/direct answer to this, but I had almost all of my goals done, went to the hidden lagoon on the 3rd island, and as soon as I had gone through the portal I got the pop-up saying I had completed that goal. Do you mean the door in the cave? If so you have to have the crown from the temple on the third island to open it. The hidden Lagoon behind it I think.

the palace is actually the area hidden lagoon. to get to the hidden lagoon,you must first have king llamas crown. you then (in fashion and grooming)equip it to one of your sims as a hairstyle. you then proceed to the dark cave and walk up to one of the ancient doors (there are two ) and select inspect. your sim will then after looking at it for a bit,stick their head in the dark patch on the door and turn their head,because the crown is the "key" to the door. doing this once unlocks both doors, and one goes to hidden lagoon.hope this helped!!!
How do you pass the quicksand on sims 2 castaways?
you have to get to the hidden lagoon in order to pass it. first you have to find the llama king's crown in the temple interior. then you go to the dark cave and use the crown to open the door there which will take you to the hidden lagoon. next just look for the floating footprints to go to the other end of the quicksand in the east river plains. finally just knock down the left pillar and you can travel in and out of the lagoon and river plains.
In the Sims 2 Castaway for PS2 I cant seem to find the llama people and I have the llama crown I found the hidden lagoon I have all the hieroglyphics so where are the llama people?

I do believe that to "Enjoy the palace" means that you are refering to one of the goals. The "palace" is the hidden lagoon on the 2nd island and just go there and walk around for a bit and then go back to the dark cave.

You Can Get through the Crystal Island after you Enter the Hidden Lagoon Inside the Dark Cave which you have to Wear the Crown to be able to Enter the Hidden Lagoon, the Crystal Island will Automatically Appear after you Enter the Hidden Lagoon. So, Hope it can Help :)
