First, make sure you have your codes for your radio. You will need them when the battery is replaced. Remove the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal last. Remove the holdown bolt (s). Remove battery and install new one of the same size and capacity as the old. Secure hold down bolt (s). Reconnect the Positive terminal first then the negative terminal last. Turn the ignition on and radio on and reset codes. Traction warning light may be on but will go out after driving a short distance
It attaches to the upper large terminal on the starter solenoid.
The battery should be in the hatch compartment (behind the rear seats), under the floor mat. Disconnect the negative terminal (black), then the positive terminal (red). Remove the battery, and install the new one in the same position. Reconnect the positive terminal, then the negative terminal. NOTE: The terminals are also designated by plus or minus symbols.

it should be your starter solenoid. Your positive terminal on your battery will have one wire running from the battery to a terminal on the solenoid. (there might also be a few more smaller wires leading to that terminal from under the engine) Another wire should be leading from the opposite terminal on the solenoid directly to your starter. There will also be one or two smaller terminals on the front (one labeled "s" and "i". the one labeled S will have a much smaller wire leading to your ignition on the column.
I'm almost positive she's about 21. :S
Terminal means "at the end", so in plants the terminal bud(s) are at the very tip of the leader/twig/branch/bough or whatever
If you can get to the starter, you hook up one side of the switch to the terminal that goes to the battery and the other side of the switch to the small terminal marked with and "S". "S" is for starter. The other small terminal you leave alone. Applying power to this terminal will damage the starter.
