There is not a stand-alone ignition control module in the Windstars.Ignition control is fully handled by the Powertrain Control Moduel (PCM).See "Related Questions" below for more

If you're looking for a stand-alone ignition controlmodule, there isn't one on the Windstar.This job has been transferred to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and its direct control of the coilpack.
The idle is controlled by the powertrain control module ( computer )

I just learned something ! That the EEC computer and the powertrain control module are the same thing ! On the 1991 and 1992 models the powertrain control module (PCM) is located in the right front passenger area behind the right side kick panel.
On a 1999 Ford Explorer : You can see one end of the Powertrain Control Module ( PCM ) from the engine compartment . It passes through the firewall and you can see one end where the wiring harness bolts to it . Most of the PCM is " hidden " behind the glovebox area

There isn't one. All 2003 Ford Taurus use a coil pack under the control of the Powertrain Control Module instead of a distributor.
