Temporal Lobe
The cerebrum controls all senses, memory, and the ability to learn. :) *Sound is processed in the auditory cortex according to my understanding. 2-9-11 HMS
The Temporal lobe located within the Cerebrum is the primary hearing and smelling area of the brain.
the temporal lobe
The auditory area is located in the temporal lobes of the brain. It also has branches into the frontal lobe through speech areas.
Primary auditory cortex
Primary motor area.
primary motor area of cerebral cortex ,cerebrum
Actually, the auditory associated cortex is a part of the brain located in the temporal lobe ( the bottom area ) which holds and stores your memory.
The temporal lobe is primarily responsible for processing auditory information and language comprehension in the brain. It contains the auditory cortex, Wernicke's area involved in language processing, and plays a key role in memory, emotion, and language-related functions. Damage to the temporal lobe can result in difficulties with understanding language, processing auditory information, and memory impairment.

The functions can be varying depending on the specific region of the temporal lobe. One well known function is language comprehension in Wernicke's area (Brodmann areas 44 and 45). The temporal lobe also houses the primary auditory cortex, is involved in memory, and object recognition among other functions.
